Burton Security were invited to participate in a tender process for the implementation of a new ATM electronic safe locking solution. After successfully exceeding the tender requirements, we were awarded the opportunity to undertake this rollout across the client’s UK network of ATM’s. The project included the supply, installation and project management of circa 1,400 ATM Safe locks across a network of 650+ branches. Working closely with the client we designed a bespoke installation process and timetable suitable for the wide variety of ATM models and operational needs of the business. Throughout the project planning several client specific functionality requests were explored, developed, tested and implemented to ensure client satisfaction beyond the original scope. After the planning period was completed the physical installations began. Using our network of skilled and qualified safe engineers we successfully installed to each ATM, in both a live branch and factory environment.

Throughout the entire project, regular reviews were undertaken, and actions applied to ensure an efficient and cost-effective rollout. As a result of the detailed pre planning work and an efficient installation process, the project was successfully completed within the client’s requested timeframe of 26 weeks, allowing them to reap the benefits of the developed solution as early as possible.
