The independent Institute for Window Technology (ift Rosenheim) regularly tests and certifies RvE windows and doors for their resistance classes according to DIN EN 1627 and bullet resistance according to DIN 1522. The entire construction, including frame, glass, locking mechanism, fittings, etc., is tested. Depending on the resistance class, break-ins are simulated using the appropriate tools.
